Financial Donations
Making a financial donation to 300 Blankets is one of the most direct ways you can support the homeless community and people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Melbourne.
Donating is simple – use the secure donation form below to choose your amount, set a one-off or regular contribution, and leave a message if you wish. Every donation helps us continue delivering essential, on-the-ground support to the homeless community through our weekly programs.
As a 100% volunteer-run organisation, your donation goes straight where it’s needed most. Financial contributions support our core programs, including Soul Kitchen and Outreach, which provide practical support, connection and dignity to people experiencing homelessness.
Your donation helps fund:

Material Aid Donations
300 Blankets accepts and distributes a range of material aid donations to ensure Melbourne’s homeless community can access everyday essentials. We accept the following items:
- Clean blankets in good condition, single bed size at a minimum. Note: we cannot accept other bedding including doonas, sheet sets or quilt covers, crocheted blankets or light throws.
- Mens & Womens aerosol deoderants (new and unused)
- Mens underwear, new only and trunks preferred in M or L sizes
- Womens underwear, new only and bikini briefs preferred, all sizes 8 to 16
- New socks, mens sizes 9 to 11, womens sizes 6 to 9
- Mens trackpants, all sizes, and jackets and hoodies (L preferred)
- Other toiletries including toothbrushes, toothpaste, feminine hygiene and sanitary products, and mini bathroom products such as shampoo, conditioner and soaps.

Donation & Material Aid Drives
Donation drives, material aid drives and goods drives are a powerful way to support people experiencing homelessness in Melbourne.
We welcome donation drives, material aid drives and goods drives organised by schools, workplaces, community groups and individuals. These drives help ensure our Outreach and Soul Kitchen programs have the essential items our volunteers distribute directly to the community each week.
What can you donate?
Material aid collected through donation drives supports our Outreach program and may include items such as blankets, clothing, toiletries and other essential goods. Please refer to the list above for the most-needed items before organising your drive, or Contact our team to understand if there is a particular item we might be in need of.
How to organise a donation or goods drive with 300 Blankets
Getting started is simple:

Register your interest with 300 Blankets so we can provide guidance on what items are currently most needed

Promote your drive within your school, workplace or community group. We can provide poster and flyer artwork – reach out to the team to request.
